20″ x 26″ original pastel painting on Canson Mi-Teintes archival paper, in custom wood frame; antique silver, 33″ x 38.5″, 2.75″ wide, 1.75″ deep; 4″ off-white mat, fillet. *Glazing is UV Museum Glass.
This one-of-a-kind original pastel painting was created by New Orleans artist Emilie Rhys in the spring of 2017, during a sequence of afternoon live music performances in the courtyard of Scene By Rhys Fine Art, at its previous Toulouse Street location.
The musicians are Jackson Lynch, fiddle; Van Burchfield, guitar.
Mr. Lynch and Mr. Burchfield will receive a cash commission from the sale of this artwork in which they are depicted.
