We take the greatest care to provide pictures and descriptions sufficient to give you a good idea of what you are purchasing, but if you have questions or need more info, contact us before completing your purchase.

Ms. Rhys’s work is unique and we expect that when your chosen artwork arrives at your house or office you will love it!  But if you are not entirely happy, we ask that within 14 days you return it to us in the same condition it arrived to you, and we will issue a refund. Hold on to our original packaging to ensure safe return shipping, because if the art or framing arrives back damaged, that could affect your refund.

RETURNS WITHIN 14 DAYS

If you decide you wish to return the art within 14 days of receipt for a refund, please contact us (and give your order#) to let us know why you wish to return it, to discuss the packing of the art, and to receive a Return Authorization Number, which you will write on the box. If a return shipping label has not been provided (some shipments cannot generate a return label) we will generate a shipping label and email it to you.

  • Please be aware that commissions cannot be returned.
  • Acceptance of returns outside of the 14 days timeframe will be at the discretion of Scene By Rhys Fine Art.

Please note the return address is different from the storefront gallery address. This is because the gallery is not open every day. We will email you the mailing address if this is needed.

OOPS, HOW CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER

Made a mistake? It happens…if you would like to cancel your order, please contact us (and give your order#) to notify us that you wish to cancel. If the order has already been shipped, we will try to stop delivery, but if that’s not possible, we will work with you to get it returned to us unopened. Once the art has been returned, we will refund the art/frame price, but we are sorry, we cannot refund the shipping charge.

SHIPPING INFO

Shipping artwork requires care in packing, and insurance!  Shipping services are notoriously rough on boxes, so we have developed packing methods to ensure safe delivery of the art into your hands.

All original unframed artworks on paper are slipped into Crystal Clear Bag® with archival backing boards. Those smaller than 14″ x 17″ are packed in a stiff photo-mailer, over which a layer of cardboard is taped for stability. Those larger than 14″ x 17″ are placed into a box of the appropriate size. The cost of these is negligible, so we cover it. The shipping charge is extra, and is added at checkout.

All framed artworks, whether on paper or on canvas, wood, or copper, are prepped with shrink wrap around the frame edges, and Glas-Skin is placed on the entire glass front. We order custom shipping boxes from AirFloat Systems, LLC., which use extra-stiff cardboard with puncture-proofing, and the interior is lined snugly with three layers of dense foam cushioning, into which the framed artwork is placed. This cradles the art, preventing shifting in transit and bolsters it against abrupt shocks. We do charge the client the cost of these, and it is included in the list price of each artwork. The shipping charge is extra, and is added at checkout.
