This one-of-a-kind unframed original pencil and ink drawing was created by New Orleans artist Emilie Rhys on July 21, 2018, during a live music performance at Preservation Hall. Branden Lewis on trumpet was headlining his eponymous band, with Charlie Gabriel on acoustic bass.
In the background is the iconic Rockmore painting of Andy Anderson, painted upstairs above this room in 1963.
Mr. Gabriel and Mr. Lewis will receive a cash commission from the sale of this artwork in which they are depicted.
