This one-of-a-kind unframed original pencil and ink drawing was created by New Orleans artist Emilie Rhys on February 29, 2020, during a live music performance at Snug Harbor Jazz Bistro. Jon Cleary is depicted at the piano, heading up his eponymous trio.
It is on view at The Café at The Collection, located in the courtyard of The Historic New Orleans Collection, a museum in the French Quarter at 520 Royal Street. Hours are Tues -Sat, 9:30am--4:30pm; Sun, 10:30-4:30; closed Mondays.
Mr. Cleary will receive a cash commission from the sale of this artwork in which he is depicted.
