Description

This one-of-a-kind original oil on wood painting was created by New Orleans artist Emilie Rhys in 1998 at the artist's Santa Fe, NM art studio. The source for the image was a news photo by an unidentified photographer, of a baseball game in which a player is attaining first base—in a stadium filled to the brim with fans. The ball hovering in the air doubles as the moon.
