This one-of-a-kind unframed original pencil and ink drawing was created by New Orleans artist Emilie Rhys on September 20, 2012, the fifth in a series of studio drawings and paintings of trumpeter John Zarsky, with the model posing live in the artist's French Quarter art studio. It was completed in one long afternoon session.
Mr. Zarsky will receive a cash commission from the sale of this artwork in which he is depicted.
