This one-of-a-kind unframed original pencil and ink drawing was created by New Orleans artist Emilie Rhys on June 14, 2019, prior to the start of a live music performance at Snug Harbor Jazz Bistro.
The artist often arrives early and creates a drawing before the music starts, as a way of warming up creatively, and getting a preview of how the stage, or some other aspect of the setting, will fit on the page.
