This one-of-a-kind unframed original pencil and ink drawing was created by New Orleans artist Emilie Rhys on February 22, 2019, with Mr. Kimbrough posing live in the artist's French Quarter art studio. The portrait was completed in one session.
Mr. Kimbrough was the founder/owner of Prime Example Jazz Club on North Broad and Bruxelles (near St. Bernard), for years a true home for music, musicians and music lovers.
Mr. Kimbrough will receive a cash commission from the sale of this artwork in which he is depicted.
