This one-of-a-kind original pencil and ink drawing was created by New Orleans artist Emilie Rhys on June 22, 2017, during a live music performance at Buffa's. Haruka Kikuchi, trombone, is depicted with the band Tom Saunders and the Hotcats.
This drawing is one of several Rhys artworks illustrating Ms.Kikuchi's interview in the book "New Orleans Music Observed: The Art of Noel Rockmore and Emilie Rhys."
Ms. Kikuchi will receive a cash commission from the sale of this artwork in which she is depicted.
