#4743_Christien Bold (imaginary portrait)

This one-of-a-kind unframed original pencil, ink and watermedia painting was created by New Orleans artist Emilie Rhys on September 23, 2015, during a live music performance at Prime Example Jazz Club. Though it was created of him while singing, it is not a strict likeness of the singer, thus the artist has termed it an "imaginary portrait."

While most of the artist's live-music drawings are completed on the spot in the venue, some receive additional work, and in this case the paint was added at the artist's French Quarter art studio.

Mr. Bold will receive a cash commission from the sale of this artwork in which he is depicted.
